Community Philanthropy Events

Strings in the Mountain was founded in 1988 and has grown from an audience of 1,400 to more than 30,000 annual guests.  “Strings” has acquired the seven – acre Strings Festival Park where a new permanent facility will be built which will allow “Strings” to become a wold-class venue with a larger stage and enhanced acoustics.  This upgrade will allow for increased exceptional muscial performances.

Contributions from the community are needed to complete this project.  Donations to the Strings Pavilion Fund at the Yampa Valley Community Foundation are tax – deductible and are matched by the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation Charitable Fund Challenge up to $100,000.
